Hulu Changes Deal For Advertisers: Now They Only Pay When Viewers Watch The Whole Ad

This morning,?at the Ad Age Digital Conference in NYC,?Hulu CEO Jason Kilar announced a significant change in how the media company will charge its advertisers. Going forward, advertisers will only be charged based on a 100% completion rate. In other words, if viewers don't watch the whole ad, it doesn't count. The change will be effective in both the free level of service and the subscription offering, Hulu Plus.

Temple Run updated with Twitter integration and numerous bug fixes

With 10 Million people having now downloaded Temple Run for Android it has given the folks at Imagni Studios something to work on for the past little while and now, they've rolled out the latest update to address some bugs and features in the game. As noted in the change log, the latest release includes the following bug fixes:

• Fixed a bug with scoring that was making it harder to get points
• Fixed a bug that made the runner accelerate too fast
• Fixed a bunch of other bugs and some spelling mistakes

In addition to all those fixes, you'll find the latest update also has Twitter integration so that you may get your humble brag on when you get an epically high score in the game. If you happen to find any remaining bugs, by all means forward them on to Imagni Studios. In the meantime though, you'll find the Temple Run download link beyond the break if you've yet to give it a go.

Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell are not mutual fans.

Still. This is the April 2012 version of the ongoing feud.

The Celebrity Apprentice star, real estate mogul and occasional political figure bashed the former talk show host in a new interview, calling her a “bully” and saying he predicted her latest television venture would fail.

Par for the course for the Donald.

“Rosie is a bully,” The Donald told the Roz Weston & Mocha show on Toronto's KiSS 92.5 Monday. “Bullies are people that you have to meet head on and I met her head on."

"A lot of people didn’t, but I didn't let her get away with the act.”

Trump said he knew from the start Rosie's OWN show would fail:

“I predicted correctly that Rosie would never make it. I did say that and she never made it so that was sort of good and I was very proud of that frankly."

7digital music store offers Windows Phone users 18 million tracks for purchase

In news that can be filed under "better late than never," 7digital has finally brought its impressive music store to the Windows Phone platform. The company has previously promised a January arrival for its eponymous app, which now offers 18 million song tracks for sale. As you'd expect, it offers shoppers with 30 second previews of each track, and purchased music will automatically sync to one's mobile device. The Windows Phone version of 7digital now joins its Android, BlackBerry and iOS counterparts, but unique to this release is a Metro interface and support for Live Tiles -- which allows users to pin their favorite artists, tracks and albums to the home screen. Shoppers will discover a variable pricing scheme for the DRM-free music, where the majority of albums sell between $5 and $12. Inquiring minds will find the full PR after the break.

Mozilla tests out opt-in system for plug-ins in latest Firefox nightly build

Plug-ins bogging down your web browsing? Then it looks like you could soon have another option to cut through the clutter right in Firefox. The latest nightly build of the browser includes a new feature that lets users turn off all plug-ins by default and then click on each to enable them (something that, we should note, can already be done through third-party add-ons). While that functionality is still in the early stages, Mozilla's Jared Wein says that they're now working on adding the ability to remember plug-in settings on a per-site basis, and hope to have the feature ready for the release version of Firefox 14 (currently due out in July). In the meantime, you can get an early look at the feature in the latest nightly build available at the source link below.

Dolby Labs and Philips unveil Dolby 3D tech, want to deliver glasses-free 3D in HD

Dolby helped the 3D revolution happen in movie theaters years ago, and now it's teamed up with Philips to do the same for TVs, tablets, laptops and phones. The two companies have created a format and content delivery technology, dubbed Dolby 3D, to bring high definition 3D content to any and all devices with 3D displays, including those that don't require glasses. Its secret sauce automatically optimizes video for different screen sizes and also upgrades half-resolution 3D to full-res. The idea is to provide both broadcasters and OEMs with a way to deliver 3D HD content to customers buying Dolby 3D devices, while remaining compatible with existing 3D gadgets. All that's left is to actually build some hardware that'll let us see all those snazzy suits from Mad Men in high-def and the third dimension.

Source: Marc Anthony Hoped to Reconcile With Jennifer Lopez, Lost Out to Casper Smart

Up until last week, Marc Anthony hoped to reconciliation with his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez, only to learn she was madly in love with new BF Casper Smart.

Marc filed for divorce Monday, nine months after the couple separated.

Sources indicate that Anthony didn't make the decision on his own, really. He wanted J. Lo back and had a heart-to-heart with her about giving it another shot.

Anthony reportedly make his intentions clear and asked to give the marriage another try, but Jennifer confessed tht she was "deeply in love" with Casper.

She said she wanted to pursue that relationship, and that was that.

Marc was blindsided, according to insiders, because while she and Casper Smart have been an item for some time, he had no idea things were so serious.

He was hurt, and has now filed for divorce, officially.

You gotta feel for the guy ... but on the flip side, they did split up for a reason, and by all accounts mutually. He's also been seeing Shannon De Lima.

Nicki Minaj's Roman Reloaded Was Initially Hard-Core Rap

But the pop-heavy LP is 'a lot better than how we planned,' Nicki's pal-turned-co-executive producer Safaree 'SB' Samuels tells MTV News.

Nicki Minaj's right-hand man Safaree "SB" Samuels took on another role for his longtime friend when he signed on as a co-executive producer on her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. When MTV News caught up with SB, he explained how he made sure everything from "A to Z was done."

Samuels said his tasks on the project included scouting for beats and keeping in touch with producers to make sure deadlines were met. When asked how he helped Nicki to strike a balance between hip-hop and pop, SB revealed that the album was initially skewed toward rap.

"In the beginning, we was gonna make it some rap spittin' sh-- and it was going to have a couple of songs that were going to be the 'Super Bass'-es and joints like that," he revealed. "But it ended up working out a lot better than how we planned."

SB went on to gush about working with Hit Boy, whose production highlights include Jay-Z and Kanye West's "N---as in Paris." After hearing just one beat, both Nicki and SB thought "We need more!" Hit Boy sent around six great beats, and they decided on two for the songs "Come on a Cone" and "I Am Your Leader," which features Cam'ron and Rick Ross. (Incidentally, those are both SB's favorites on the album.)

But on the topic of crossover appeal and whether Nicki has deserted her rap roots, SB couldn't disagree more.

"She's still doing her rap sh--, she's still doing her crossover sh--," he said. "When you a star, you a star. You can't deny it."

Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded debuted at #1 this week, selling 253,000 copies in its first week on the Billboard albums chart. Nicki's debut, Pink Friday, debuted at #2 in December 2010 on sales of 375,000.

American Idol treated us to seven great performances last night.

But the remaining finalists were forced to look ahead on this evening's results show, as America voted and revealed an inevitable, but sad result for one aspirant:

It looked briefly like fan favorite Phillip Phillips might be in danger, but it came down to a surprising bottom three: Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet and Elise Testone.

That's right, arguably the three best singers remaining on the show were in danger of getting booted, making for the most gut-wrenching elimination this year.

The contestant getting the boot this week was an even bigger stunner, too. Who was it? You're not going to believe it, but the lowest vote-getter was ...

The studio erupted in chaos at this news, but as she began to sing for her life, she was interrupted by Jennifer Lopez, who informed her that she had been ...

SAVED by the judges!!

There it is, the one and only judges' save of the season, used on a powerhouse performer who definitely didn't deserve to be in danger, let alone go home.

"We are saving Jessica, without a doubt!" Randy said as the judges engulfed her. "This girl is one of the best singers in America! Ever! Are you kidding me!"

"Everybody, please vote for the best! Come on!"

It remains to be seen if America will heed his words a week from now, but for now, all seven singers survive heading into next Wednesday's Top 7: Reloaded.

WASHINGTON (AP) ? For all the turmoil of the long primary season, President Barack Obama is right where he expected to be: taking on Mitt Romney and targeting him as a wishy-washy protector of the rich. With the November outcome likely to hinge on the economy, Obama will now engage more directly with the help of an experienced, well-financed campaign organization.

The campaign for the White House took on a decidedly different feel on Wednesday, a true two-man race for the first time. Yet even as Republican Rick Santorum's withdrawal a day earlier changed the dynamic, beginning the general election in earnest, the contours of the Romney-Obama race had already been becoming clear.

Both sides will keep pounding voters with ferocious arguments over who has the best vision for jobs, economic security and giving Americans a shot at a better life. In sharp and steady doses, directly or through aides, Obama and Romney will also accuse the other of being dishonest with voters and out-of-touch with their daily woes.

Everything gets faster and louder now.

Obama will pick his spots in targeting Romney directly until the election draws closer, needing to juggle the demands of his job and eager to remind everyone that he is the one who is already the president. Obama's Chicago-based campaign, meanwhile, will be working vigorously to challenge Romney and try to define him.

In a sign of the bitter fight ahead, Obama campaign manager Jim Messina went after Romney the day the race was joined: "The more the American people see of Mitt Romney, the less they like him and the less they trust him." The Obama campaign followed that on Wednesday with a video of some of Romney's most divisive or awkward moments during the Republican primaries, titled: "Mitt Romney: Memories to last a lifetime."

The events that shape the race may well be surprises to the candidates as well as everyone else, like the economic collapse of late 2008. If the campaigns have their way, however, the narratives are set: Romney assailing Obama as an economic failure who had his shot, and Obama depicting Romney as one who would gut middle-class America.

Essentially, Obama has already been running against Romney, who fell short in his 2008 effort to win the GOP nomination.

Every time Obama talks about millionaires paying a fairer share in taxes to help all of America, as he did again Wednesday, it is meant as a contrast to Romney and his vision. Vice President Joe Biden has been out giving a battery of campaign speeches that take on Romney, including another one on Thursday in New Hampshire.

And long before Santorum bowed out this week, Obama had been trying to define the election as a clear, basic choice. His pitch is that Romney will revert to a harmful trickle-down, let-people-flail philosophy instead of spending tax dollars on core priorities and using the government as an enforcer of fairness for all.

Romney sees Obama as a "throwback to the old-style Democrats of the past, big government, welfare state Democrats" who want America to become Europe.

The race is on. It's been on.

"I think people think about this as some kind of switch going off, but it really is more like a ramping up," Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod said as Romney's status as nominee was assured. "There's no big line of demarcation, because the arguments have been developing over a long period of time."

At the White House, spokesman Jay Carney said Obama will methodically get more into campaign mode. But he said the president is still in a period where he will talk more about the agenda in front of him, both in Congress and on the world stage, than about "his general election opponent."

Yet life gets blurry when a president runs for a second term. Political fundraisers in battleground states and near the White House have become staples of Obama's calendar. Even his official events, like a speech he gave on tax fairness at Florida Atlantic University on Tuesday, take on the unmistakable rah-rah feel of a campaign.

Romney, transitioning to his new role as all-but-sure nominee, showed a bit more swagger with Santorum out of the race.

"The president's campaign slogan was 'hope and change,'" he said to cheers and laughter in Hartford, Conn. "I think that's changing now to 'let's hope for change.'"

The former Massachusetts governor stuck with his preferred message and itinerary, including Tuesday and Wednesday events in Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island, even though those heavily Democratic states will not be in play this fall. He also kept with his recent strategy of emphasizing his concern for women who own businesses, a clear sign that Democratic claims of GOP insensitivity to women have raised alarms.

Obama holds a double-digit polling advantage among women, who have made up a majority of the electorate in each presidential year since 1984. Overall, polling on the race has Obama on the upswing in a matchup with Romney, suggesting the president begins the contest with a slight advantage.

But his ratings on handling the economy remain in negative territory. A Washington Post-ABC News poll released this week said 47 percent say they trust Romney over Obama to handle the economy, compared with 43 percent who favor the president.

And trust ? or the lack of it ? is already defining the race.

Romney went off on the president's candor with the American people in a speech last week, saying an open-microphone moment with the Russian president about second-term "flexibility" reflected his brand of leadership. "He is intent on hiding. You and I will have to do the seeking," Romney said.

The Obama campaign has launched its own response effort. Said Axelrod: "One thing that we're going to be particularly vigilant about is monitoring what Gov. Romney says day-to-day, because sometimes it's harder to know whose record he distorts more ? his own or the president's."

Obama's campaign has a sizeable cash advantage over Romney's, having more than $84 million in the bank at the end of February, Federal Election Commission records show. Romney's campaign had about $7.2 million.

This election cycle has also seen an explosion in the use of super political action committees, or super PACS, that can accept unlimited contributions, mostly from wealthy individuals but also from corporations and unions.

Romney especially benefited from such a super PAC, which unleashed a barrage of ads in key states to help crush his Republican competition. Obama flip-flopped on his opposition to super PACS, but one group set up to assist him has had trouble attracting seven-figure donations and lags behind its Republican-oriented counterparts.

Okay, so there are those people, who are super well meaning, but if you have fertility issues, you really just want to stuff a sock in their mouth and then put duct tape over it so that they can't give you anymore unsolicited, painful, (and STUPID) fertility advice.? Specifically this little gem- "JUST STOP THINKING ABOUT IT! AS SOON AS YOU STOP "TRYING" YOU WILL GET PREGNANT! IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME!!!"

I'm so sorry people. Sorry that I can count to both 14 and 28, and that once a month a get a super lame and inconvenient reminder that my greatest hope and dream has been dashed once again.? It's nearly impossible to just "Forget about it" and word to the wise- don't ever say that to someone....and if you have, you should go buy them a Route 44 Sonic today and drop it off at their house for no apparent reason!

Well, I will now sort of eat my words. Not because I think you should EVER say that to someone, but because I think that's how I got pregnant.? Well....that a few other things... but I was so INSANELY STRESSED OUT OF MY MIND, that I didn't have time to think about my fertility in November and December. I'm serious, I don't think I could have told you which way was up, let alone which days I would be ovulating.

?So, back to the very convoluted story.? Dave and I had decided for the end of?last year to quit all our drugs, ultrasounds, day 13 trigger shots etc. etc. etc. because I was already too stressed out, and because we were going to do another round (or 2) of invitro this year.? BUT- I did need to have one procedure done before we could go forward with invtro.? I needed to have a laperoscopy to see if my right ovary was fused to the back of my Uterus with scar tissues from Jaxon's c-section. (During our last invitro, the doctor couldn't get to my right ovary to get all those beautiful little follicles, and thought it was because it was fused to the back of my Uterus) so, we wanted to start our Invitro process right away in January, so I scheduled the laperoscopy for December 5th.
?? On The fifth?I had my laperoscopy.? Dr. went in through an incision in my belly button, and one in my c-section scar.? The procedure went well.? My ovary was not fused, so the doc just moved it. I had no endometriosis to speak of, I had one large cyst which the dr. removed (But after finding out that it was my day 14 in my cycle, he said it was probably my follicle/egg about to ovulate) and he flushed my tubes to make sure they weren't blocked- which they weren't.? So like I said, it went well, but didn't show anything unusual.
? So, because the Dr. may or may not have removed a egg/follicle, he said it may or may not have changed my cycle.? So....that was not very informative.? Anyway... recovery was pretty simple and thus,?CRAZY INSANE life went on.? On Dec. 22rd we left for China.? You can read all about that in the previous post, but let's just say...we shared a room with Jaxon our whole trip...so...fertility was pretty much completely on hold!? :o)
? BUT!
I hadn't had my period for 4 weeks before the trip.?
AND...
I didn't know if my cycle had changed.
What I did know is that I am very regular, so my period should for sure come sometime during the trip. Either at the beginning, or the end.? I was prepared, but didn't think much of it.... until it was?4 days until we would be leaving China.? Since I hadn't started at the beginning of the trip, I knew it would be at the end.
Counting down....
Day 4...nothing.
Day 3...nothing.
Day 2....nothing, and I mentioned something to Dave. Dave knows better then to get excited every time I do, so he wasn't too phased.
Day 1- We were leaving China, and nothing. I checked ALL shops in the Beijing Airport- no pregnancy tests. bah.
??????? We arrived in Seattle. I checked ALL shops in the Seattle airport- no pregnancy tests. Bah!
??????? We arrived at the Phoenix airport. I checked ALL shops on the way out of the airport, NO PREGNANCY TESTS- BAH!!!!
?My dear friend picked us up and drove us home, and as soon as she pulled away, Dave took off to go to the store to get a darn test.
He brought it home.
I took it.
I was pregnant.
WHAT?
YES! I SAID
I.
WAS.
PREGNANT!!!

I came out of the bathroom Crying and Dave didn't know if that was good or bad. I nodded my head and he ran over to hug me! I was crying and we were hugging and Jaxon said, "What are you guys doing???"
? I said, "We are just SO HAPPY to be a family!"
Jaxon said under his breath.... "You guys are weird..."

So, I had NO IDEA how far along I was.? I didn't know what my cycle had become, so we made an ultrasound apt. right way.? The first 5 days home I was horribly jet lagged, but fine other than that.? On day 6, two days before our apt...it hit! AWFUL, DEBILITATING NAUSEA! BLECH!
( I have tried not to complain too much, because I WILL TAKE IT...)
?At our drs. apt we saw the heart flutter and found out we we were 7.5 weeks along.?So you know how you actually calculate your pregnancy from two weeks back from the?actual conception date?
Any guesses what?that meant?the "First day" of my pregnancy was?

Okay- DECEMBER 5th! THE DAY OF MY PROCEDURE!!!
Coincidence? I think?not...

?We had decided that if we could see the heart beat, we would start telling people, because I was too sick to hide it.? So, we started telling, and I have been so touched by people's excitement for us!!
?
We hadn't told Jaxon yet, because we were waiting to see the Ultrasound...so we saw it, and it was time!
But that...is a post for another day!!
